Abstract: The aim of this workshop is to provide a brief description of sources of vibration and noise in elevator systems. And then to analyse how various noise and vibration phenomena influence ride quality of an elevator. The presentation explains the fundamental concepts and involves a number of case studies to demonstrate various methods of analysis.
