Abstract: Care of people who require specialist palliative care demands a range of specialist skills from various people. While there has been a growing awareness of the issue of implementing clinical supervision within nursing, there has been less emphasis on its use among or between inter-professional team members within a hospice environment. This article describes a six-month project to develop, pilot and evaluate an inter-professional supervision project within a hospice setting.
