Abstract: | Imagine A Day Project (IADP) is a global arts initiative responding to the need for sustainable change. An international team empowers individuals and communities through creative collaboration, social innovation and practical exploration to envision and enable a better future. Launched in January 2014, IADP has reached children, young people, university students, teachers, community professionals and artists in Sri Lanka, Australia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Kosovo. IADP designs bespoke immersive workshops and training programmes, encompassing the cultural and social context of the commissioning. Theories, forms, and conventions of applied performance, strategic conflict analysis, and human rights inform a methodology of experiential learning: in short, to think, feel, and act. |
