Abstract:	Race discrimination and racial bullying in the workplace has gained attention over the past couple of weeks due to the Prime Minister highlighting the issue in speeches to the Conservative Party conference and CBI. Following this, there have been discussions around how such discrimination might be addressed, for example, through the anonymising of application forms. However, as the comment piece in The Guardian from the 10th November highlights, overt and more subtle forms of racial discrimination are still pervasive in employment and society as a whole and, I would argue, are actually on the increase. I am not sure that anonymising application forms will have a huge impact! It seems suggestions are being made which merely scrape the surface and don’t appear to have moved on from issues which were highlighted in the 1960s.
