Item Type: Book
Abstract: The development of inclusive education requires that teachers adopt teaching and assessment approaches that are supportive of all learners. This short book, based upon work developed with teachers during summer schools in Tibilisi, Georgia examines how teachers can deploy assessment strategies that recognise the learning needs, potential and achievements of diverse learners. Consideration is given to assessment as a diagnostic, formative and summative process, with examples provided of how this can be managed in classrooms for students with a broad range of learning needs.
