Abstract: This workshop is intended for early career researchers who have limited experience of applying for research funding. Being able to secure competitive funding is considered crucial for conducting research, particularly for early career researchers who are developing their own research profiles. This workshop aims to provide guidance on successfully applying for research funding. This practical workshop will provide an overview of applying for research funding, examples of where to apply, some tips on what reviewers are looking for and in completing the application. Participants will have the flexibility to discuss their funding experiences with others and to obtain answers to questions relevant to their funding experiences.
