Abstract:	The June 2013 meeting of the Mutual Housing Group (MHG) noted that a number of ideas for research into the ‘mutual’ and ‘community-led’ sector are being brought to the attention of group members. It was agreed that it would be useful to have a short paper drawn up on how the MHG might consider ideas or proposals concerning research initiatives. This paper draws together information about identifiable research initiatives under way in the UK and provides some comment on how this and other work could support the work of the MHG and the interests of its members.
