Abstract: | This session outlines the major findings of a study into the effects of different types of assessment on different types of student. The students studied were LL.B students between 2002/3 and 2007/8, and the impact of the nine different types of assessment used during that period on the different equality strands were explored in the quantitative part of the study. The second part of the study was qualitative, and explored though the use of focus groups, reasons why students felt that there may be differences between different groups of student |
