Abstract:
As we face the challenge of meeting the multi-faceted needs of these learners with complex learning difficulties and disabilities (CLDD), Ann Fergusson from the Centre for Special Needs Education and Research at the University of Northampton questions are we adequately prepared as a professional body to meet the needs of our learners in the most responsive, appropriate and effective ways and do we have the necessary solid foundation upon which we as professionals can develop and deliver the necessary pedagogy for truly person-centred learning and teaching?
