  Abstract:
Review of Still Shines When you Think of It: A Festschrift for Vincent O’Sullivan, ed. by Bill Manhire and Peter Whiteford (Wellington: Victoria University Press, 2007, ISBN 9780864735713). In producing this festschrift for Vincent O’Sullivan, Emeritus Professor of English at Victoria University of Wellington, on the occasion of his 70th birthday, the editors acknowledge “the outstanding and prolific range of his contributions to literature and scholarship” (9). The title is taken from one of his own poems, “Still shines when you think of it”, from the collection The Butcher Papers, published in 1982.
