This paper discusses the references to the giant Gogmagog in three British Origin legends; it also traces the evolution of the characters of Gog and Magog through their role in London pageants and their presence in the London Guildhall; finally, it discusses the giants as revenants in relation to Derrida’s Specters of Marx
