Abstract:
Collaborative annotation tools can enhance deep learning and critical engagement with texts. However, quality and depth of engagement appear to vary and highly depend on the degree of integration within learning and feedback processes. This case study explores including Perusall, a social annotation tool, in pedagogic planning in an MA TESOL context, its effects on learning, and student perceptions.
