Abstract:
An introduction to Gary Card's practice within fashion, which involves set design and costume making as well as fashion drawing. The article highlighted Card's improvised process and stressed an expansive understanding of what fashion illustration can be today by understanding Card's spatial approach as a form of illustration through its relation with imagined worlds, narrative and the creation of dramatic experiences.
