A presentation / think piece on the future implications for the South Midlands region : even if few would actively claim to be living in the emergent urban region. Ways in which people live their lives framed by it, driven by mix of state policy and search for development opportunities - never just ‘market’. Challenge to find forms of governance even when population unpersuaded tensions and possibilities – not just a technical process
