Abstract:	The term “nutraceutical” is becoming a popular definition for those foods which offer medicinal or health benefits (Andlauer & Furst, 2002; Georgiou et al., 2011; Eussen et al., 2011; Camfield et al., 2011). Many feed supplements now offer behavioural modification as a benefit of intake, as opposed to those designed to improve health and longevity. They can therefore include those supplements which aid mental health, i.e. relieve stress and anxiety. This research project, partly sponsored by Dodson & Horrell Ltd., aims to define these benefits. A discussion of progress this year (2015) will be presented alongside the current results from Phase 1 and a discussion of what they possibly mean. A literature review of similar herbal studies and support of methods/use of the test battery will be provided.
