Abstract:
This article discusses the importance of a recent conference on Katherine Mansfield, held in the South of France, which commemorated the centenary of the author's visit, as well as the writing of one of her most celebrated stories, 'Prelude', which would later be published as a standalone book by Virginia And Leonard Woolf at the Hogarth Press, as their second publication.
