Abstract: | This performance live art installation took place at The 'Circuit' Festival at DMU, Leicester on the 2nd June 2011. Elena Marcevska and Charlotte Nichol are current PhD students and Authentic Movement practitioners (a somatic practice developed by Mary Starks-Whitehouse). It is part of Charlotte and Elena's wider interest to explore process as performance. Developed from the somatic practice of Authentic Movement, Elena and Charlotte chose to explore two separate stories through movement, text and image making. The separated explorations were captured via live feed and projected as one image. The aesthetic is a layered processual fragmented story over a 2 hour duration |
