Abstract: A concurrent art exhibition (paintings and video projection) bringing direct experience of the art object into relation with the participants and the conference themes. In an accompanying panel session each presenter, Prof. Jane Bacon, Michael Evans and David Parker, posed a number of inter-related questions and then invited the audience into debate and discussion around the art works in relation to these themes. This presentation provided a stepping-stone towards the promotion of the Psyche in the Arts Research Network first symposium held at the University of Northampton School of the Arts on the 24th September 2011. Details of the network symposium and the IAJS conference proceedings are available via the IAJS website: www.jungianstudies.org
