Abstract:
As the programme director of the Mathematics Specialist Programme across a large area of England Debbie Morgan gave a presentation on the programme. The programme is a two years Masters programme for primary school teachers. It aims to provide the necessary development of knowledge and skills to lead to the nationally recognised award of Mathematics Specialist. These teachers are then expected to support and develop others in their school and play a key role in school improvement. The session attracted an international audience, including professionals from Ireland, Spain and Canada
