Canine hydrotherapy is becoming an increasingly common form of exercise in dogs due to the wide variety of applications and the industry has responded with an increase in facilities. However, it still remains a relatively under-researched sector, especially with regards to equipment and protocols. This study captured information from 22 Canine Hydrotherapy Association registered centres about features of their equipment in use. It provides a snapshot of how hydrotherapy is being carried out and opens up several areas for further research.
