Abstract:
Shahidha Bari is joined by novelist Richard T Kelly and actor Tim McInnerny to introduce a series of readings from well-known and lesser-known unfinished works (a theme of this year’s BBC Proms) and to explore the stories behind them. The works discussed are: Coleridge's Kubla Khan, Ralph Ellison's Three Days Before the Shooting..., F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Last Tycoon, Truman Capote's Answered Prayers, and Jane Austen's Sanditon.
